..... so a plan was made to quickly build side pannier mounting for 2 Cargo soft luggage bags. This rack was made from copper tube and soldered joints with steel inserts where the bolts pass through and on a wing and a prayer that it would hold the trip to Tuscany was completed without the rack breaking. This in itself was quite a feat as it had several bangs from both sides from my riding companions who forgot how wide a bike and side panniers is. This trip over a plan hatched to build or buy a more suitable sturdier rack.

Having had some advise from other riders who mentioned the Hepco Becker system did not fit the 900ie very well, I decided, well how hard can it be?

3 Versions later and the expense of a new TIG welder here it is in the final proto-type form. There will be a production version of the side panniers available hopefully in 3Q this year after the trip to Slovenia and perhaps if there is demand a rear rack as well.

Have a look at the pictures which also show my dash mounting for my GPS and Video Camera using the RAM-Mount™ accessories readily available from their website or in the UK from GPS Warehouse.

I will be taking orders but please bear in mind they will be made to order and will be available in many colours. They will be fully powder coated but at the moment I do not have pricing but please keep checking the Items for Sale page on this website.
